Summer Queens for Middle School Girls
June 13, 2010
There will be a Queens League for Middle School players (players going into 6th, 7th and 8th grades). This will be played at Falcon Ridge Middle School on Wednesday nights starting June 23. Teams can be a mix of grades and no more than 4 girls can be on the court. If a team has 5 players, they can just rotate out. If a team is short players one night, they can play with 3. This is a low cost option to keep kids playing once a week over the summer. Lisa Slinde will take registrations through June 21.
Apple Valley Juniors Volleyball End 2010 Season
June 12, 2010
All AVVB Juniors teams concluded play for the 2010 winter season last month. We'd like to send our best wishes for future volleyball success to all of the girls. Keep up the hard work! Thanks to the coaches who worked with the girls several hours per week for five months. Thanks to everyone who makes AVVB work. Finally, thanks to the parents who get the girls to practice, power leagues, and tournaments. None of it happens without your support and encouragement!
