Apple Valley Junior Volleyball
The Apple Valley Juniors Volleyball Club aims to promote the sport of volleyball for girls in Independent School District 196, particularly for girls in the Apple Valley High School attendance area. Our club teams compete in local tournaments and power league. Apple Valley Juniors is a member club of the North Central Region of the USA Volleyball.
Apple Valley Team Takes Fourth Place at Northern Lights 12's Cup

Congratulations to the AVVB 12s, pictured at right, who placed fourth in the Northern Lights 12s Cup held at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse May 1st and 2nd. The Warehouse has posted the full results on their website.
Special recognition goes to setter Katie Mattison who was named to the All Tournament Team. If you follow the link to the picture of the All Tournament Team, Katie is the one wearing the jersey that matches the color of the volleyball!
Apple Valley 12s Take 2nd Place in Gold at Presidents' Day Festival

Congratulations to the AV Juniors 12s team 
(pictured at left) who took second place out of 16 teams in the gold division of the 20th Annual North Country Region Presidents' Day Festival. All four Apple Valley Juniors teams played in the Festival in the gold divisions for their age groups. The 16s finished in 10th, the 15s in 18th, and the 14s in 29th. Overall, there were 52 teams playing at the 12s age level, 115 at the 14s, 84 at the 15s, and 120 at the 16s age level.
AVVB 16s Place FIRST at the Frostbite Festival

The AVVB 16s won the 16s age division at the 2010 Frostbite Festival sponsored by the Rochester Youth Volleyball Association. AVVB beat the SMV 16-2s in the finals in three sets. Check out the final bracket results to see the scores of their last three matches.
